YE OLDE HOMESTEAD WOOD TOTE
I have to tell you a story about this guy, I wanted to make a tote just a little different than we had ever done so I cut this guy out and wanted to give him a different handle. We had a pecan tree in our yard that had major wind damage to it last fall, and I decided I wanted to use pecan branch as my handle instead of a dowel or such, but my other half being a male and all (lol) told me that wasn't going to work, that is like waving a red flag at a bull, I had to prove that I am competant so I used the pecan tree branch. Ok anyway, so there it is with its pecan tree branch handle and I like it.

Shelves
Here are some of the shelves we have done. I will try and add more over the weekend. This is one of my favorites it is The Gathering Place. We have done
them several ways some we do a crackle finish on this isn't one of them, though it looks great too. The Santa on top is just one of my stump Santa's I have done. They were a lot of fun to create as well. The shelves we sell for 26.00 if they aren't crackled and with the crackled finish they are 28.00.
The Santa is 16.00 and he is adorable. I also made little santa head ornies that are really cute and working on some Scarecrows right now that are my design as well.

New to blogging so bare with me
We are a handmade craft blog. Our items are strictly made by us and we have been crafting for a very long time. We make wood items as well as primitive dolls and such. We make lots of snowman things and we try and repurpose items as much as we can so that old things get the chance to become something new again. Here is a picture of the snowman head I designed last winter and I just love him. Have been thinking about offering him as a pattern, but I am not sure yet.
